Hadar Edvi

Hadar is a multidisciplinary international lawyer specializing in Corporate and Commercial law, with a particular focus on the high-tech sector. With a deep and longstanding interest in East Asia’s culture, history, and geopolitics, combined with extensive hands-on experience advising clients and negotiating with counterparties across the region, Hadar brings a distinctive and strategic perspective to navigating East Asian markets.

Hadar holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a B.A. in Business Administration from Riechman University (formerly IDC Herzliya), and earned an M.A. in East Asian studies from Tel Aviv University. Admitted to practice law in 2007 under the Israeli Bar Association.

Hadar has served as Legal Counsel in a multinational corporation, where he supported company departments, leading and finalizing complex negotiations and transactions with Tier 1 companies and OEMs across Asia-Pacific (mainly Japan, Korea, Vietnam and India), Europe, and the United States. Hadar also provided ongoing counsel on regulatory compliance, risk management, and corporate governance, ensuring alignment between legal strategy and business objectives in a dynamic international environment.

Prior to the military coup in Myanmar in 2021, Hadar practiced Corporate and Commercial law in Yangon, Myanmar advising on cross-border and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions with stakeholders and counterparts from Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
During this period, Hadar also served as a lecturer at Reichman University, where he taught practical transactional law within the International Business Negotiations (IBN) course.

Earlier in his career, Hadar worked for the Israeli Competition Authority and in private law firms, gaining substantial experience in corporate and commercial law, competition law, regulatory compliance, and complex commercial matters.

Hadar’s practice spans corporate and commercial law, high-tech, competition law, and regulatory compliance.

Hadar is fluent in English and Hebrew.
